My approach to coaching

I specialise in helping you make fundamental shifts in your thinking – a process known as vertical development. This means expanding the way you make sense of challenges, boosting your capacity to respond powerfully to a complex context.

I will constructively and compassionately challenge your thinking; expand your perspective and options; and hold you accountable to progress.

My coaching experience covers executive, senior and mid-level leaders in education, government, construction, manufacturing, financial services and not-for-profit sectors.

My coaching methodology is a synthesis of the International Coaching Federation’s core competencies; the Institute of Executive Coaching and Leadership’s organisational coaching lens; and an adult developmental coaching approach.

A coaching partnership that fits

Coaching partnerships typically work best as a series of sessions: eg. six one-hour sessions over 4-6 months. This helps you work deeply enough to make enduring transformative change, with a specific time-frame in which to expect and observe meaningful progress. We discuss and tailor the number of sessions, duration, frequency and other inclusions to your context.
